CEG Chair and CEO of UK Power Networks discuss CEG priorities for the year ahead

An interview has been published today with Ann Bishop, Chair of the CEG for UK Power Networks, and Basil Scarsella, CEO of UK Power Networks, reflecting on the CEG’s progress to date and what lies ahead for the CEG in 2021.

In conversation with Energy Live News Co-Founder and Editor, Sumit Bose, Ann and Basil discuss the role of the CEG in challenging UK Power Networks to deliver a business plan for the period 2023-2028 – known as RIIO-ED2 – which responds to the needs and priorities of the company’s large and diverse customer and stakeholder base.

They also consider what makes this business plan different compared to those of previous years from a customer perspective – not least in terms of the transition to net zero emissions.

In addition to the new video, minutes of the meetings of the CEG’s Core, Heads of, regional and working groups have also been made available today on the CEG website.
